How to Use WeakAuras

Step-by-step instructions for installing the WeakAuras add-on and importing auras into World of Warcraft Classic.

   Install the WeakAuras add-on

   Use a trusted add-on manager or download WeakAuras 2 from its official source, and pick the build that matches your version of WoW Classic.

   Launch World of Warcraft Classic

   Make sure add-ons are enabled on the character select screen.

   Type /wa in the chat window

   This opens the WeakAuras options panel.

   Select “Import”

   The Import button is at the bottom of the aura list on the left.

   Copy an import string from this website

   Use the Copy Import String button on any WeakAura card or detail page.

   Paste it into the WeakAuras import window

   Paste with Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on macOS) into the import field.

   Review the aura and complete the import

   Check the summary WeakAuras shows you, then confirm the import.

   Test it on the right character and game version

   Trigger the ability or buff and confirm it behaves as expected.
